If you are the parent of a gifted or high ability student, this is the night for you! "Parenting Identified Gifted and High Ability Children PK-12" is going to be at Creekside Middle School on Thursday, January 28th. It runs from 6:30-8:30PM. There will be a keynote speaker and breakout sessions. Check out the flier below for more information!

ALP's (Advanced Learning Plans) have been hand-delivered to all identified GT freshmen who either missed the October 1st meeting, didn't hear the announcements, and/or still haven't turned in their ALP's as of December 2nd. They are now very, very due to my office by December 18th.

There will be a new Writing Club beginning this Thursday, October 22nd, during club time in room 2304. Mrs. Gammell is the sponsor. There has been a great demand for a club like this, so I am glad that we can offer it! If you are still searching for a club, stop by my office and we can see if a) you'd like to create a new one, or b) if you just haven't seen all of the great clubs already out there!

If you are a freshman and you attended the meeting on October 1st, please turn in your ALP form to me as soon as possible. If I am not in my office, you may stick it under the door or give it to Mrs. Berry and she will then get it to me.

The Letter of Commitment is due at the time of registration, whether you attend the Eighth Grade Open House night (Feb. 2nd) or register during Advise at PRHS (Feb. 4th). Please email Mrs. Troy if you have any questions regarding the letter.
